2 Years Later and 2 weeks in FL

Wow!! Last time I wrote I was getting ready to bring in a new baby in this crazy insane world of ours!

As you know she's here ;)

We are in FL visiting my folks, my brother and my grandma. Luckily we'll be seeing my Aunt who will be flying in from MI. Anyone else is welcome to join us we'll be here till Aug. 22nd!! We've been for almost 2 weeks now.

Helena has been sure to keep us on our toes.

1st flight out, she did great. 2nd flight out, not so great! she manage to have everyone around us wish we weren't around ;) And almost cause us to have to land because of her screaming. Luckily some guy in front of us let her pull his hair out and kick him 100 times to keep her happy. So sorry to the unknown man in front of us :0

She's manage to go thur a box of diapers in one week. She won't keep them on. Yes she's ready to potty train. Mama not so much.

She's manage to not sleep a full night of sleep since we arrived. Nor has she been to bed by 10pm.

She's managed to poop and pee everywhere you can think of. Including the kitchen counter this am!

She has no fear of water. Just dives right in and manages to gives us all a heart failure.

She's manage to learn how to pop off a safety lock on the door wall that leads out to the in ground pool at my folks. We are Safety Lock number 2, so far so good, but she did pop one of those off as well but we were able to get it back on and leave it on.

She's managed to learned how to open all the doors in the house, break almost every glass object she can touch, sneak outside to the garage and try and ride the jeep car that is for the older girls, climb every piece of object in this house, run away from me every chance she can, ran thur rain storms, took her 1st boat ride, eat every ounce of sand she can grab in her tiny little hand, spill a full glass of  margarita on her and myself, run away from us at baseball games, and make us laugh every chance we get! Love this kid but traveling with her has been more of a job then a vacation. Never realize how spoiled I am at home ;)

Baby on the Way??

It's 3:32 am here in OR/WA area and I am up. Today is my due date and just maybe I might be having my baby on this day!

I've been feeling really well up till yesterday! Had my 40 wk appt yesterday and was shocked to find out I was dilated to a 4!! I've been having a few contractions here and there up till my appt yesterday. After I left my appt I hit the store to get some paint so we all could make onies for the baby. Came home, hit dinner with my mom, Dave and the girls - what a fun time we had! A lot of laughter that's for sure. I am pretty sure people around us thought we were drunk lol Came home to paint and make shirts again fun memories where made there.

Now, I am up alone enjoying the quiet. Deep down inside I am freaking out but at the same time I am excited to meet our new baby. I am so glad to have my mom here to experience this once again and could be our last time :( The girls are so excited. Before going to bed I think Adrianna asked me a million time if I was having the baby today.

Well baby girl or baby boy we are excited to have your join us. Please just don't hurt mama too much!

23 weeks and many more to go!

Swollen from head to toe? Increased blood flow, by now an old friend, is to blame. Consider a trip to the shoe store because loosening ligaments will cause your feet to expand even more in the weeks to come.

So far no swollen feet, hands or legs. Just belly! My feet so far are the same size and I hope they stay that way!!! I really have some cute shoes and hate to have to lose them because of feet growth. This baby is really a mover! She loves to kick and poke! I am LOVING every min of it as I never really felt the girls move around. Adrianna never moved. She loved sleeping - still does. Gabriella moved here and there to let me know she was ok - now I can't get her to sit still. I wonder what this little princess is going to be like on the outside world! My fav part of the day is at night when everyone is sleeping. The baby and I get to bond when it's so quite. She loves when I drink Tea. She'll move around and kick my hands whenever I place them on my belly. I love looking at my belly too. The girls love it too and ask often if they can kiss the baby, talk to the baby, rub the baby and listen to the baby's heart beat! It doesn't get any better then this!! Dave on the other hand I think is a little freaked out that there is someone in there, but at night he loves holding the belly and feeling her kick. However she stops the min he gets his hands on there :) I see another stubborn princess on our hands! All three girls were/are like that with Dave since they've been in my belly! But he does get a few kicks here and there.

Life Lessons

In the last few weeks my eyes have opened to a few life lessons. I am more inspired to get moving on certain projects and ready to move forward with things!

I have so many great ideas on what I want to do. I just need to do it! I need to stop thinking, dreaming, planning and talking about it. Just need to do it! So starting tomorrow I am taking the 1st step towards doing it! Well I guess you can say starting today since I am blogging about it so it means I have to do it ;)

Meanwhile:

We've found out we are expecting another new princess in our family!! We are so excited. That make baby girl # 3 for us! We have 2 female dogs too. Poor Dave - stuck with us :) He couldn't be happier (really I think he likes being the only male - he doesn't have to be shared). Now to figure out how I really want to do this baby room. I have so many ideas! So many!! Don't get me started on names - we can't seem to really agree. However I think we've narrow it down to 3 and will announce the name when she's born (since it could change from now to then!).

Dave's doing well with his job and loving it! I am adjusting to this whole moving thing and stay at home mom thing. Meeting new people and hoping to start getting out with them a little bit more ;) Girls are doing GREAT. Loving their new friends, school, and hometown! We've added a few new members to the family. Lexie - Collie Dog. Fuzzy - our male Guinea Pig. Coconut - male Guinea Pig. (I had no part in naming those things!) 3 new fish in Dave's tank (1 Oscar and 2 Piranha). I think that's all we'll add for now! :) Of course Gabriella thinks the pony next door is her but it's not (she'll tell you otherwise).

I didn't want my new friends in Oregon or Washington think I totally hate it here!

Here are my new things that I love:
drives to the mountains with my family, drive out to the river to just stare at the amazing view, MOPS, scrap Friday nights, my house, our land, play dates with neighbors, play dates with MOPS friends, play dates with TMN, Sweet Basil Pizza, Coffee Perk, Andy's Market, the parks, walking around downtown Walla Walla, Stateline Community Church, Adrianna's preschool, Wednesday family night at church, babysitting coop, rolling green hills, Books N Games, Del Taco (I know they have this in MI but didn't have it till we came out here), Fast Eddy's, the little place where we got pumpkins can't think of the name but a very cool place, all the farm animals to look at while driving, drives up to the wind power farms to see Dave's work, the candy shop downtown, Walla Walla library, the children's museum, the walking trail behind walla wall fort, the dog park, breakfast at Heather's, shopping with friends, donut from the bakery (don't know name but it caught on fire and will be back in the spring), the bakery downtown that reminds me of Italy, Tony's Video, Christmas light display downtown Walla Walla, the Christmas light parade, the light display and show in Milton Freewater, the arts downtown Walla Walla, and much much much more that we've yet to see and do!!

Things I miss

Today got me thinking while I've been wanting a few things while expecting this baby but can't have since they are in MI!!

Things I miss and want:
my parents, my friends, cousins from my husband family, aunts and uncles too, my family (some of them), my house in lake orion, Faygo pop - Rock N Rye, Orange, and Root beer, Jets pizza and bread, Vince and Joe's Market, The Pantry, house salad at Kruse and Muir's, shopping at Great Lakes Crossing, Tim Horton's, skiing up north, driving to st. clair to visit my friend and hanging with our kids, hanging out in Oxford with another friend, the zoo, walking downtown Rochester and going to the park to feed the ducks, riding our bikes to the Lake Orion parks, dinner at Casa Real, hanging out at Sagebrush, Sweet Savory Bakery (the cupcakes!), going downtown Detroit, Hani from Coney Island, Big Boy Sandwich from Big Boy, Cabbage soup from Big Boy, Partridge Creek Mall, Spray Park in Clarkston, late nights out with Kelly, my brother, Mom 2 Mom Sales, working out at the gym and my trainer, the girl who cuts my hair, bbqing with my parents friends from their childhood, fishing out by st. clair river, listening to my husband pull his ice fishing gear out to ice fish in our backyard, golfing with my parents (even tho they thought I hated it), drinking drinks my cousin made while she worked, watching the snow fall from my kitchen window, being able to drive to any LARGE store in a matter of 10 mins to shop, the farm, the meat market, my godson, Tiger Baseball games with friends esp. those who pee their pants from time to time lol, Basketball games with my parents, thanksgiving football game at Ford Field, crazy Kruszewski's family parties just so we can get together just because, Peach Fest with my oldest and dearest friends, hanging out in the Jenning's pool, my grandma's pool, grandma's condo, Carrie Lee Take out, Lemon Rice Soup, and much much much more!!!

Been a while

So last time I post I showed a pic of a belly (not mine but I wish).

Yes we are expecting another baby :) Due in the end of July :)

We are super excited!!

A lot has happened since then and I'll post about those thur out the day and week.

Giveaways has stopped due to a couple of reasons - one I am just too busy with the little ones and preparing for the new one. Two - i am getting ready to start my Doula training. Three - I am also starting a small business of my own and will be selling stuff thur Etsy.com :) (more about that soon) Four - had a couple bad experience where people were not getting their stuff :( I hope to come back to this and from time to time offer some giveaway of my own stuff that I'll be selling and some other goodies from women I've met here in WA area.

For years and years, I've purchased the newspaper every week to cut out coupons and maybe a total of 10 times I've used them. I always hear about how these women who go shopping and spend very little to no money, heck some of them are making money. I've always wonder how?

Moving out to OR, it's been easy meeting new people. I never thought I would be making or meeting friends as fast as I have been. There are wonderful mom networks out here and the neighbors are just amazing! Ohhh Salllly!

I love my dog don't get me wrong, but some days I could kill her (i am joking for those who are taking me seriously).

When we got her about 2 years ago she was a pup and we didn't really have to do so much training with her. Only training we had to do is trying to get her to NOT eat our stuff! I see that we still have to work on that but she's getting better.

1st it was my fav pair of high heels that she ate.
2nd it was Adrianna's Snow white headband for her Halloween costume.
3rd it was my hearing aid and $2500 later we had to get a new one!
4th it was my coat
5th it was my pillow
Now today it was my glasses!!

I am seeing a pattern here, it's my stuff she's eating!!! And I am the one who takes care of her! BRAT! :)

Wouldn't trade her for anything! Love you Sally!

On a side note today Gabriella and I went for our morning walk while Adrianna was at school and it's just amazing how you really do learn something new everyday! We found a new path to walk on and it had some interesting facts about the Solar System during the whole path. It was nice to get out in the cool crisp fall morning and just explore. It's a bonus when you find a path you didn't know was there and then find out there is a chance to learn about the Solar System, double bonus!



Moving away from our home state has been so rewarding I wouldn't change it for a thing!!!

As I know it

Two weeks from today myself, my husband and my girls will be leaving everything and everyone that we know. We'll be heading to OR to our new home. I am very excited about this time in our life. It couldn't be a better time. There is nothing holding us back.

My parents are moving to FL to start their new life along with my brother. While it sucks knowing they'll all be together and we'll be on the other end of US, it makes me feel stronger and better as a person. Knowing I can do this. We can do this.

The scary part is not knowing where anything is but also the fun part! The other scary part is not knowing anyone but it's also the fun part too! :)

This all been a life adjustment to all of us. Losing our jobs, renting out our house, moving in with my parents/brother, Dave being gone since July, my parents leaving, and now us. My poor kids are wondering what's next. It's been taking a toll on the kids, my parents, my brother, my husband and finally me.

I am struggling with this Stay at Home Mom thing. I won't lie. I love being home but I have my days where I doubt myself. My kids seem to appreciate me more when I worked and our time we had together. At the same time, we weren't making changes every 3 weeks ;) I am hoping once we get back to our normal lives - school, dance, Dave being home, and family time - things will balance out and I'll not struggle so much. Most days I feel I am the worst mom and not doing anything right.

But then there are days I know I am doing just ok. :)

I am trying to get caught up I swear!! I don't know how I worked full time, took care of two kids and the house! I've been so busy since off work. Running here and there. Trying to find stuff to do with the kids. And stay in our budget. I never have time to do anything for myself really beside working out. That I will always find time for since I need stay healthy and lose the weight.

The last few days I've been trying to get caught up on photo and projects I said I would do for other people. Can't really talk about the projects but I thought I would post my 1st time taking pictures of my oldest and dearest friend who's expecting. Today is her due date but I really don't think the baby will come out till either April 23rd or May 3rd.

I had fun taking pictures of her and I am glad she let me. I took some pic in DC when I went to see her and some at a local park near her home.

I did it!!

I took the jump and learned how to sew!! I always said I would learned and for 4 years I've been too scared to learn. My new 4 years old sewing machine got put to use today!!! I am not GREAT but I am not BAD either. A little more practice and I should be ready to rock and roll!! I have some ideas on things I want to make and do so hopefully when we get back from vacation I can put my new skills to test.

I am proud of myself. I did something off my Bucket List!!!
